Memory wire bracelet and matching earrings

For my best friend's birthday, I made my first memory wire bracelet and matching earring set. I used beads from Club Scrap, and made the earring card using paper from the Club Scrap 2007 retreat.

I've just started making jewelry and
am still learning to use all of the
tools, my latest hobby.

Wild Card - Cupcake Card and Envie

Using the Wild Card cartridge, I cut this at 5 1/4 " (both the card and the envie) using pink Bazzill cardstock. I cut the purple/pink overlay of the cupcake bottom at 5 1/4" using scrap paper and the white top of the cupcake at 5 1/4".

After I glued it together, I used Magic Scraps glue to attach purple and pink beads as cupcake "sprinkles". On the card, I lightly chalked the candles in purple and yellow. I also chalked the bottom of the cupcake to give it more dimension.

I embossed the white part of the envelope to make it look like icing, and lightly topped it with purple glitter glue. (In case you couldn't tell, my niece, at 5, is REALLY in to pink and purple!) NOTE: I had to cut about 1/8" off the top of the card to make it slide easily in to the envelope.

Wildcard Cartridge - Scallop card

This is the scallop card on page 32 of the booklet, cut at 3.5". The paper and ribbon are both from Michael's. The flowers and brads are Making Memories, and the Wishes chipboard tag was from my stash.

Life's A Beach Cart - Surf's Up Card

I used the "Square Card" feature, then selected the surfboard. I cut this at 5.25", and pressed the "Fit to page" button. To layer the surfboard, I pushed the "Layers" feature, and cut the surfboard twice: once using yellow paper, once using dark brown paper. I cut the surfboard at 3.75". To make a liner for the card, I cut one 4.75" x 9.75" rectangle using Sure Cuts a Lot, then adhered it to the inner part of the card.
I cut "Surf's Up" using the "Title Words" feature; I used the 2.25" setting.
After I glued everything together, I lightly chalked all edges to add dimension.
I purchased a square envelope template from http://svgcuts.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=21&products_id=27. It was a great deal for $1.99 and saved me from figuring this out myself. I cut the envelope per the directions she provides when you purchase the SVG.
Light brown and blue papers are from Club Scrap's "Fossils" kit (2004); yellow and dark brown are scraps I had.
This will be a birthday card for my brother-in-law, who's a big surfer.

Cricut Wildcard Cart - Scallop card

My first card with Wildcard Cartridge - it's the Scallop card on page 32 of the Wild Card booklet. I cut this at 3.5" (slightly smaller than the envelope.) The cardstock is from Michael's and the ribbon is Club Scrap. I cut the dog using the Paper Pups Cricut cartridge. "With Sympathy" is also from Wildcard Cartridge.

Cricut Wildcard Cart - Scallop Envelop

My first Cricut envelope, using Wildcard Cartridge. I used "fit to page" button, cut this envelope at 3.75". I bought this cute double-sided cardstock at Michael's. The dog is from the Paper Pups Cartridge - I cut him out at 2".
